Who We Are

Daniel
Daniel Donzino, founder of Beau Geste, in his studio in Argentina in the early 1980s.
Beau Geste is a small family-run studio based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, dedicated to the creation of handcrafted military miniatures and historical toy soldiers.
Our story began in the early 1980s, when Daniel and Ana Donzino created a company that, over the years, evolved into a deeply personal artistic endeavor centered on craftsmanship, historical research, and a passion for miniature art.

Today, Beau Geste continues under the direction of Ana Donzino, after Daniel's passing. She remains the owner, artist, and driving force behind the company, working with her son Julian side by side, keeping Daniel's legacy alive. Every piece is still produced in small quantities using traditional artisanal techniques, with careful attention to sculpting, painting, and historical accuracy.
Our miniatures are not mass-produced; they are individually handcrafted works created for collectors who value authenticity and detail.
In 2000, Ana discovered the fascinating world of the Delhi Durbar of 1903, a subject that became a lifelong passion and inspiration. Since then, Beau Geste has developed an extensive line of miniatures recreating the extraordinary uniforms, elephants, ceremonies, and personalities of the period through years of dedicated historical research.
From our studio in Argentina, we are proud to share our creations with collectors around the world who appreciate the artistry and history behind every figure.
We invite you to explore our collections, browse our historical lines, and subscribe to our newsletter for updates on new releases and projects. You can visit us at www.beau-geste.com or contact us at info@beau-geste.com.
